Intensive Retreat

What is an Intensive Retreat?

  • Deep listening to an entire life story
  • Specific teaching
  • Correction, if needed
  • Encouragement and hope in Christ
  • Practical assignments
  • Prayer
  • Lasts 1-3 days
  • Includes advocates
  • Held at various locations

Why Intensive Retreats?

  • Knots are sometimes so tight more than a weekly one-hour session is needed to break through
  • Lack of distraction from everyday life

Who would qualify for an Intensive Retreat?

  • Complex situations: spiritual, physical, and emotional complexity over an extended period of time
  • Issues that are acute in nature (crisis situations)
  • People who find themselves in places where they cannot see a way out
  • Cases where help is needed more quickly, and more intensively than weekly sessions can provide
  • Deeply depression, despairing about life
  • Tragic loss, great pain and suffering
  • Deep webs of deception
  • Problems stemming from serious and life-dominating sin
  • Long standing marital conflict

So, while you may think this could help you, we reserve the right to make final determination on what is best for your situation. If you think you are in need of counselling, please check out these guidelines to help you determine how to receive care. You can also request counselling here .
